Policy Issue Attention Allocation Processes and Financial Markets
Issue attention allocation processes send important signals to markets about the policy priorities and policy change capacity of policymakers. I specifically investigate how issue attention levels, the diversity and stability of policy agendas affect stock market returns and volatility.
